Our dual spindle, live milling, y-axis lathe, the Takisawa LA250YS

Turning and Mill-Turn

The state-of-the-art lathe on the floor is capable of tight-tolerance turning work and complex, 4-axis milling as required by your project. With 15 tooling stations and dual spindles, it can machine most parts in a single setup for high accuracy, repeatability, and production value.

Milling

The DMG Mori CMX1100V vertical mill is a vertical 12000RPM spindle machine equipped with probing for in-process measurement and accurate, speedy setups. I also have an agreement for use of several horizontal mills with my former employer, all state-of-the-art, 4 axis machines, if your project requires it. CAD/CAM

I use Fusion 360 for a complete CAD/CAM package. Fusion lets me generate accurate and complex toolpath for high-speed machining, advanced probing routines, and much more. If you are early in the design phase of your project, I can create solid models and blueprints for you to help communicate the specifics of your final product.

Heat Treating

This service is supplied by my vendors, but I can include it in your quote so you do not have to search for a vendor yourself. Let me know what your heat-treating requirements are, and I will gladly find a matching service for you.

Grinding

For precise, small, hardened parts, I can set up our surface or centerless grinder to achieve your necessary tolerances and surface finishes. For more advanced grinding, I can connect with vendors in industry to make sure your projects meet your specifications.

Anodizing/Powdercoat

Through connections with various vendors, I can make sure your parts look their best. Let me know what colorization or finishing processes you require and I will be sure to fulfill them to your specification.
